Audio through HDMI and Laptop

Hi I am using VLC player and I only get sound through hdmi or my laptop
I would like to get sound out of my laptop and hdmi at the same time when playing a video file.

when i play my movie on my secondary monitor connected through hdmi i get audio out of my laptop. If i open sound i can test and hear sound through my tv while having audio on my laptop.

what i would like is dual audio through my laptop and tv for VLC. XP had dual audio why doesnt windows 7??

Laptop: dell
TV: 47 inches
Sound: VLC

You can use multiple audio output devices at same time, but single VLC instance cannot output audio to multiple devices at same time.
