But when trying to play mp3 i often get this error.

Hello,

nice to see an update that fixes the heavy pixelation. However I can't use the version you posted here, because I have a new problem with it. I just post this right here so that you can look for it as soon as possible.

When I play a movie with an actual trunk version (and no pixelation) of VLC on my second monitor in fullscreen mode, the fullscreen image is displaced in some strange way. In my case the fullscreen image seems to be moved to the left and I have some strange artefacts on the outer right side (where the video is "missing").

This doesn't happen with the current stable VLC version 1.0.2 !

Hi again,

I made some screenshots to help you understand what I mean. The left half of the screenshots is my second monitor and the right half is the primary display adapter.

Screenshot 1 - just my 2 desktops with no application, you can only see the wallpapers:
http://img240.imagevenue.com/img.php?im ... _556lo.jpg

Screenshot 2 - VLC maximized on the second monitor (LCD TV) and some strange black and white mix on the right side:
http://img147.imagevenue.com/img.php?im ... _230lo.jpg

Screenshot 3 - VLC in fullscreen mode on the second monitor (you can see parts of my wallpaper here):

This problem does not occur with 1.0.2, so I guess it has something to do with your fix to the pixelation problem.

Thanks for the shots. The second shot seems as if VLC wouldn't paint over desktop. Are those images on native resolution?

Yes, both diplays are running in native resolution.
That is 1920*1080 (@60Hz) on my LCD TV and 1680*1050 (@60Hz) on my 22" TFT.

The screenshots are not edited in some way, that is what I get when I press "Print Screen" on my keyboard.

Although version 1.1.0 seems to solve the pixelation problem on my notebook (Win7 pro, 32bit), it won't show me the controls if i watch in fullscreen and move my mouse. How do I reactivate them?
