Config file (vlcrc) question...

I was just wondering whether someone could confirm if the settings in the vlcrc config file work in the following way, that if you have lines with conflicting settings then the last of the conflicting lines is the one that will be used and loaded by VLC?

The reason I ask is simply because when manually editing config files, I like to simply append all of my personal settings to the end of the config file without having to go through the contents, knowing that since they are the last entries then they will be the ones that are used...
