broken AVi - , ignore, repair - ask, ignore etc options

Postby cybmole » 23 Sep 2009 17:41

I have to turn off the default "ask" setting for AVI files that VLC does not like, as it does not like most of my old ones. ( i.e. anything ripped from DVD with IMTOO software) !

It would be more satisfying though to run a repair process - in batch ideally as there are lots of files - so that VLC becomes happy with them all. Is there a utility which can do this or can VLC do it ?

if batch is not possible can VLC be set to ask...repair.. then SAVE it's work so that I don't get the same question next time I play that file.
