Resize interface to video size works wrong

Postby CKYHC » 17 Jul 2009 15:08

HW: Intel Core 2 Quad, NVidia Quadro FX 1700, 2 Monitors used (Extended Desktop mode)
OS: Windows XP Pro, SP2
VLC media player 1.0.0 Goldeneye

Problem: the video is not visible if the VLC player started by opening mp4-file and the "Resize interface to video size" option is activated in settings.
If you resize the interface using mouse (to get bigger VLC window) - the video becomes to be visible.
So it looks that initially the size of video-frame is set to 0.
If you close the VLC and open it again by click at mp4 file - the problem occures again (the video is not visible).
You should again resize the interface manually to get it visible.
If you disable the option "Resize interface to video size" in settings - the last window size will be used at new start and the video is visible.

Media-Information: Resolution 640x480, Codec: mp4v, Display Resolution 640x480

Do you mean it only happens with mp4 files ? What about other types of video files ?
