Firefox plugin 'Waiting for video'

Postby Brickt » 12 Jul 2009 16:27

Hi, I've installed the latest firefox and vlc plugin but when I try to view video on webpages all I get is a black rectangle with 'Waiting for video'. I tried searching but couldn't find any answers. Any help please? Thanks.

You may need to add VLC install directory (C:\Program Files\VideoLan\VLC) to %PATH%. Go to Control Panel ->System -> Advanced-> Environment Variables. If there is already something set in PATH, use semicolon as separator.

Return to “VLC media player for Windows Troubleshooting”
