I use VLC 0.9.9 and open the folder Media open Disk :
Volume: DVD
Player R:\
and play
DVD Won't Play

And crash happens with all DVDs you have tried to playback?

Does removing %appdata%\vlc folder help to crash?

i am not having a crash on mine... only some DVDs are having issues not all
