Fullscreen Start Bar Win764RC

Postby fishpen0 » 05 Jun 2009 02:32

In fullscreen mode everything works fine until I try to use one of the controls with my mouse. If I try to click on any of the controls the start bar pops up over them and I cant click on anything. I can click anywhere on the video to make that start bar go away again, but it comes back as soon as I try to use the controls again. I am running Windows 7 64 bit Release Candidate and using the latest version of VLC. The error occurs when My taskbar is not locked, when it is locked, when it is not set to autohide, when it is set to autohide, and any combination of the two.

I just wanted to post here and say that I too have same problem. I'm using the 32bit version though. I was able to drag the control bar a couple of inches up to avoid having the star bar completely blocking it. It allows to me to use it while im in full screen mode but the start bar still pops up. Its very annoying! I have done lots of poking around (both in windows and VLC) and I haven't found anything that prevents it from happening.

So, I just wanted to add a "/me too" to your post.

PS I just installed VLC 1.0.0 RC1 and said problem is very much alive and well. It hasn't been worked out with 1.0.0, thats all for now.
