Help on mosaic and VOD

Postby Stuntman » 15 Apr 2009 14:30

Hello,
I have some problem to set up the configuration I want for my network with VLM.
I would like to have some stream in multicast let's say from :
225.141.11.1 to 225.141.11.11 . In each of these stream I will provide whatever tv show or documentary.
I want also to set up 5 or 6 VOD (movies trailer in HD).
And to conclude I would like that all theses videos can be accessible via the mosaic (VOD and multicast streams if possible).
I already know how to set up broadcast but the thing is I don't understand how to use the mosaic to get what I want.
Can the mosaic be accessible via http://server_ip:8080/mosaic.html from my network client ?
PS : http://www.videolan.org/doc/streaming-h ... l#id313330 This I read and I could not reproduce it.

OS : XP pro SP3
VLC : 0.9.9

It's just a try, I will afterward put IP addresses in my mosaic.
