Audio Problems (1.0.0)

Postby UnKnOwN_86 » 06 Apr 2009 10:08

I have a movie on my computer that is totally asynchron. Audio is about 6 seconds before the video.

I tried to fix that problem with vlc synchronation. With positiv values i get either no sound at all or it doesnt change a bit. With negatives value i get an increased delay on audio. Also i tried to modify the advanced setting Audio desynchronization compensation, but this had no effect at all.

Hope you can help me.

You are correct. Small positive values should work. But longer ones don't. Does it work if you set the delay via command-line using --audio-desync=6000 ?

I'd love to do that, but i dont know how to do it?!?

Edit:
Okay, i think i have found it. Is it at View --> Add Interface --> Console ?
If i am at the correct place to give in your command, than i have to tell you it says that the command doesnt exist. I have looked up in the help but there isnt a command with anything concerning desynchronazition.

Start -> Run -> cmd or create .bat file to VLC install folder with following text inside.

Code: Select all

vlc --audio-desync=6000

Hmmm... For me the command-line works but from GUI the errors or no sound comes up. You have some public test sample I could try?
