5 times VLC opener...

Postby cand » 16 Nov 2008 20:05

Hi,

studying here around, can't find what I'm looking for.

I want to have 4 instances of VLC running on my first monitor. (4 small ones) Can also be one VLC with 4 pic in pic. (mosaic)
I want to run 1 instance of VLC on my second monitor.
Those instances should be startet by a batch file or so....
Those 4 instances should open video-files randomly
By cliqing one of those 4 small instances, the video should run on the big (5th) instance.

You're right. Similar to that what you can find in a xxx-cabin with adult films. You know what I mean.

Any ideas? How would you solve that?

Write an application that shows multiple videos at once (perhaps by using vlclib or how it is called). This program then should be able to detect clicks on its user interface and react appropriately...
