VLC doesnt autodetect the subtitles if there is any space between letter or words. This happens to me with avi format and srt subtitle format.
I tried showing all options in preferences to fix the problem but it still happens the same.
What can be the problem?

Which VLC version you run? And could you tell us filenames that show this issue?
