Video Stream Rate

Postby jshort86 » 14 Nov 2008 16:21

Hi

We are using VLC to stream video to a video test solution that we are building at the moment.

However, I am trying to confirm what the typical frame rate that an VLC UDP Stream will send an M2V over a network.

Is this dependant on the frame rate of the video file?

Best Regards
Jack

It should default to same framerate as the input has. If you want to change it
--sout-transcode-fps=<float>
Video frame-rate
Target output frame rate for the video stream.
