vlc 0.9.6 and file .flv..lots of problems..

hi!
i've updated my 0.9.4 to 0.9.6..and now..incredibly..my vlc is not able to open .flv extension file..it really crashes..
why??
is it a bug..??

When I found this problem after updating, I just reverted back to 0.9.4 - that works fine for flv.

i really do not want to be forced to go back to 0.9.4..i'd like to be fully able to use the new updated 0.9.6 to open all files..such as flv..

I have the same problem, also AVI files are a no go and they dont open It seems that VLC is going backwards
