DVD menus does not work

Postby bowa » 23 Oct 2008 21:39

Hi All,

DVD menus does not work (no mouse actions work) when I open a DVD on HD using File > Open Folder. I get no cursor in the menus when I move the mouse over them, the menus does not react on mouse clicks.

BUT - if I use the context menu in the Windows Explorer and use right-mouse > "Play [folder] in VLC" THEN menus work as expected!

The behaviour is 100% repeatable on my Vista64 Ultimate.

Weird?

Best regards
BoWa

I just tried Bows's "right click in Explorer context menu" and sure enough DVD menus work! :)

Now if this were fixed things would be styling.

bowa: use Media -> Open Disc... the issue should be fixed on next release.

Using bowa's Explorer context menu workaround also fixes the issue I named above!
