how to delay audio now???

Postby seinfeld » 23 Oct 2008 13:49

Hi guys, since the new release I have noticed ctrl L and K no longer changed the audio offset, how can I do that, I have tried looking throught the manual but it doesnt seem to be there??

also I am getting poor performance in fullscreen mode, if I move the mouse and the fullscreen menu appears the performance returns to great, or if I just maximise the window without going fullscreen also fine.
I have quad 2.4 intel, 8800 gts, lots a ram, all working beautifully on the .86 or whatever version b4 this one, any reason fir that? also I have had a few of the display driver stoped responding on occasion with the new player also

thanks for the help in advance someone
regards
seinfeld

Are you using latest display adapter drivers and have you tried different video output modules? (to make full screen playback better)

Audio delay hotkeys are now k and j, you can change them from Tools -> Preferences... and Hotkeys

thx alot for the info M8. I think I have it on open GL atm, as this was the best previosly.
and yeah latest drivers. I know this is a new episode an all, but I think its still really a Beta, as I get files that dont load the first time, I have to reload it, then sometimes that doesnt work, so I have to terminate the vlc service, then it will work, so there is alot of teething problems, I think it was a bit too early to release this to the general public

Fullscreen controller issues ATM seem to be related to display adapter drivers, because the issue only exist on buggy Intel drivers. You are the first one who has the issue with NVIDIA card and that is why I suggest to update your display adapter drivers.

And did you reset your VLC settings when you updated to latest version?
