Hello i am on the latest version of VLC.. Great work on the coding however i have some questions id like answered please

What is the best video scaling method to use?

And does postprocessing work?

Postproc is deactivated for 0.9.x releases

Best scaling is probably bicubic.

What does tap mean? Cant find anything in VLC about it.

VLC doesn't have option to change taps from GUI. Nor from command-line.

Ah thanks for answering. One more question actually.

How do you configure VLC so when you open a file it goes to the last place you opened one?

Say if you opened a file in folder A when you next go to Open file it will go straight to Folder A

That should be fixed in 0.9.5 release.
