no sound?!

just downloaded this and it plays my mp4 videos but i have no sound. any help, thanks in advance

just mp4's. it will play mp3's and wmv's.

you need to specifically pick the last audio track of the iso or you'll get no sound.

The ISO contains a movie.
Where should I pick the last track, because in the playlist I only can see the ISO-file?

what's the audio codec in the mp4 media file?
it says "samr" under the audio codec

AMR audio isn't supported in public builds. Only thing you can do is compile VLC with FFmpeg build that has AMR support (not a trivial thing).

With VLC yes. FFDshow+Media Player Classic should play them.

I too have just downloaded the player and although files play there is no sound, how can this be fixed?

As said earlier, check the audio format using MediaInfo, if it is AMR, then use another player. If it is something else, tell us what format it is.
