Subtitle Location Problem ?

Postby Mic-Beatz » 22 Sep 2008 16:52

I'm using Windows and my vlc is uptodate which is 0.92..My problem is about the location of the subtitles..I want subtitles to appear at the bottom of the page in that BLACK part..Whatever i did i couldn't remove subtitles off the video and put them under the video..The subtitles are white and when the video is white you can't read anything (i also read about subtitle color adjustments like some convert them to yellow but i don't want to convert them, i just want them to be white and under the video) ..In other players you can choose where to exact show subtitles..Is there any option like this in VLC ? Please enlighten me, ima go nuts

VLC does not support rendering subtitles outside of the video area.
Don't use PMs for support questions.

Is it considered to be in future ? Is that an extra-ordinary request ?

It is requested all the time, and the answer is: if we have time.

You can already put subtitles to black. But it isn't the easiest option.
