How to save graphic equalizer settings in VLC

I am unable to save my graphic equalizer settings in VLC despite checking the save equalizer settings

I had the same problem with ALL the settings. I'm using Vista and VLC v0.92. All I needed to do was to launch the player as administrator and set everything up. You should try that, worked for me...

I tried the use admin trick and my eq settings are still reverting to its default( flat) help please..

Equalizer zetting can be saved in a simple method.

first open VLS in skinned mode. configure equalizer as you desired, close VLC skinned mode and open the normal mode.
