http://www.highdefinitionstudio.com/vid ... ffects.zip talking about this one,
If you watch 1080p video on full screen, then yes, you can't move the slider exactly where you want it to be, because you can only jump to keyframes and slider has more empty between those keyframes because video is short. That video has total 7 keyframes (frames: 0, 5, 101, 105, 106, 108, 204, 300) so those frames are only points were you can navigate directly.

Use more keyframes (I-frames) when encoding.

If you don't create those videos by yourself, there is really nothing you can do (well you could always create better decoders and demuxers, but with HD video, there would still be issue with lag, because instead of 1 frame you would have to decode for example 100 frames and the playback would stall totally until every frame is decoded).

I downloaded this nightly version http://nightlies.videolan.org/build/win ... 0817-0004/
I played same video with player, but about 15-20 minutes later the player closed and exit without any error :(

I tried for 3-4 timer, but same issue.

I have played http://www.gametrailers.com/download/35 ... 3_h264.wmv now 20 times at repeat with 0.8.6i, no crash. And those random crashes are hard to debug. Devs prefer crashes that can be easily repeated.
