VLC is trying tot open a deleted .srt??

It's the same one whatever movie I select with the 'Open with...'-option. Next thing I know there's an error-notification.
Even when I select 'delete' or 'don't show further warnings' in the notification window.. The 'error' is back with the next movie.

What to do??

Tried resetting VLC settings?

I checked Preferences/Video/Subtitles and saw that this one .srt was the one that opened with every movie.
After erasing it there -however 'automatically search for subtitles' doesn't work- it didn't come back..

Problem solved for now.. Thanks!!
