Vlc crashes when i close it

I am running vist with Sp1 on it and vlc i and everytime i close vlc it says windows has a problem and is trying to find a solution It is an annoying bug but isn't major

Have you tried resetting VLC settings?

??? I reset all of the preferences then changed them back and... Its fixed. The problem is solved (i hope and think) TY

NO it didn't fix it. Soz. BUt when I re-enabled the minimise to tray feature (took a while 2 figure out how 2 agasin) it started crashing.


EDIT. I give up. Now it doesn't crash BUT it won't minimise to the system tray. Can anyone help me?

How do you minimize it to tray?

preferences>interface>main interface>wxwidgets and click system tray icon and unclick tool bar. Doesn't work in skinnible mode though

wxwidget options are only for default wxwidget UI. Skins section (references>interface>main interface>skins) has the similar options for skins interface.
