vlc 0.8.6i don't work on W98SE

I just upgrade vlc 0.8.6.f to the new release 0.8.6h and I've got this error message :

wxWidgets Fatal Error This program uses Unicode and requires Windows NT/2000/XP Program aborded

It is the same when I upgrade vlc 0.8.6d to 0.8.6e
see there : viewtopic.php?f=14&t=44738&start=0&st=0 ... ork+on+W98

I reinstall the 0.8.6f version that work fine
Can we have the compatibility again with Windows 9x/ME
For all the old dinausaurs

Take the old libwxwidgets.dll from 0.8.6f and put it in the plugins folder of 0.8.6h and it will work. I am going to fix this.

Hello all,
I just update VLC with the new version;
it's the same with the new version 0.8.6.i

I replace the wxWidgets_plugin.dll files from the vlc 0.8.6f and it work well
