No video or sound?

Postby howie » 08 Jun 2008 20:03

I just installed VLC and I do not get any video or sound. I am using XP Pro. I see the VLC player and nothing else.
Thanks a lot,

If sounds and video work with another players, try to change audio and video output modules (also test different files).

open a command prompt and type.

Code: Select all

cd C:\Program Files\VideoLAn\VLC vlc.exe --file-logging "Drag a video file to play""
"Drag a video file to play"==drag a file to the command prompt the window.

the in explorer copy the text in C:\Program Files\VideoLan\VLC\vlc-log.txt to here in a post.
