(a) I installed the latest nightly build vlc-0.9.0-git-20080531-0003-win32.exe
1) ddwav files got from
http://www.diatonis.com/downloads_dts_ac3.html did play perfectly through the Home Theater system, VLC automatically switches to "A/52 over S/PDIF" (as it should), but dtswav files did not even play.
2) With ddwav or dtswav files got from
http://www.sr.se/cgi-bin/mall/index.asp?ProgramID=2446
there was no audio from the Home Theater system.
3) dts audio CD's don't play at all.
4) .ac3 files play perfectly but .dts files do not play.
(b) I reverted back to the stable vlc-0.8.6f-win32.exe
1) ddwav files got from
