Problem with IE Plugin

hi,

i want to use vlc in IE 6.0, i download the code from wiki, but it wont work.

i think the problem is the cab file:

codebase="http://downloads.videolan.org/pub/video ... ]axvlc.cab[/b]#Version=0,8,6,0

can anyone help me out how to?

Hi,

I just experienced the same problem. Checking the ftp download archive, I noticed that up to and including v0.8.6c, the file axvlc.cab is included in the corresponding ...../win32/ directory, but for v0.8.6d and 0.8.6e the axvlc.cab file is missing.

I could not find anything in the related release notes, maybe I overlooked something.

Does anybody know why the .cab file is missing, and how to automatically download/install the plug-in?
