How to: Convert Videos with VLC

Postby dannymichel » 27 Jan 2008 05:18

I searched the forums and Google, but couldn't find a guide.
Could someone be so kind enough to link me to where I can find a guide on converting any video format including mpg-avi, avi-mpg, avi-dvd, dvd-avi using VLC?

[edit] i just realized this post might not really be windows specific

It is easier to use tools like AVIdemux or mediacoder. But if you want to try with VLC then read http://www.videolan.org/doc/streaming-h ... /ch02.html
