How do you make the default play window larger?

Postby djvampyre » 18 Jan 2008 14:56

I know how to expand the size of the window after double clicking the file by the click and drag method and I know how to access the fullscreen mode, but that's not what I'm asking about. I'm referreing to making the VLC Player window start up at a larger size automatically by default for every video file I double click.

For example...

When I double click a video it plays with VLC player and starts up automatically with a window that is about 5 inches by 5 inches large WHich is always much too small for me to see properly so I always have to drage the window to a larger size. What can I change in the VLC Player options to get videos to automatically start up with a much larger window size whenever I double click the file. This way I won't have to drag the window to a bigger size for every single file I play. ***Note*** I do not want the video to start in fullscreen mode everytime I just want a slightly larger bordered window by default.

Thanks in advance !!!

=D

You might try a different skin. Some of them are smaller than the default skin so I imagine some will be larger.
