VCL plays caca ascii and i cant play normal...

Hi guys!
I have got a serious problem if u arent a ascii fetishist witch i unfortunately are not...
I downloaded a movie and when i tryed to play it it just showed ascii with color.
Before playing this movie all was fine but now everything plays with caca ascii.
I dont have any settings in outputmodules, the directx setting screen is all blank whitout options.
i run vcl on a win 2k machine.
I have tryed to move the settingfiles and reinstall vcl but it doesnt change anny thing...
does annybody know what to do pleazz help im desperate!
I want to end my caca life ;-P

Update DirectX to 9c. Then update your video and audio drivers to something later than Oct. 04
