yes.. I tried.. and same problem.

this problem happend with all wmv files. try to jump/seek forward or backwards... and you will notice that image get destroyed (random colours/artifacts/etc) until some keyframes are readed)

I use key shortcuts for forward/backward... maybe would be nice have key shortcuts for jump forward/backward to next keyframe

VLC version: OVER 9000!!!
Operating System: It's...blue screen
Location: Heaven? No no. What's that other place that starts with an "H"? Oh yes: Home. ^_^

Have you tried the nightly builds? Since using them I've noticed an improvement in the way it handles certain codecs including seeking without, for the most part, any artifacts.

hey yes.. nighly builds works better (no image artifacts).. but now the forward/backward using key shortcuts dont work ok. Each time I press them video return to last played position.. and if I continue pressing the forward or backward key VLC closes
(a new bug?)

Perhaps. I'll try to test this out as well. It probably works better in this version because of blah blah blah technical stuff. :P
