VLC video on a window pinned to desktop.

Is it possible to play a video with VLC in a similar way as wallpaper mode, but in a window instead of fullscreen?

VLC version: OVER 9000!!!
Operating System: It's...blue screen
Location: Heaven? No no. What's that other place that starts with an "H"? Oh yes: Home. ^_^

Yes, but you'll need to be using "DirectX video output" (Tools > Preferences > (tab) Video > Output modules (check the "Advanced options" box) choose "DirectX video output" from the drop-list). While you're there, (tab) Output modules > DirectX > Enable wallpaper mode, save and restart VLC.
