VLC 2nd Monitor Problem

Postby Joe33345 » 09 Jul 2007 06:40

its just a minor problem. when I'm set in dualview on nvidia i can move the movie from one monitor to the other. when I put it on the 2nd monitor and make it fullscreen, it plays fine. but I get violent horizontal cuts while watching the movie. mostly during fast motions. just like if your playing a game with vsync off. ive tried Directx, Directx 3D, and OpenGL with the same problem. any ideas?

VLC version: OVER 9000!!!
Operating System: It's...blue screen
Location: Heaven? No no. What's that other place that starts with an "H"? Oh yes: Home. ^_^

This could be the video overlays and/or DirectX drivers. Enable video overlays (Preferences > Video > Overlay video output), this should get rid of the horizontal lines. If the problem still exist then check out those DirectX driver from Microsoft. :)
