VLC Vista Settings question

Postby themutt » 25 Jun 2007 06:04

Hey, First off its nice to see 8.6c running well in vista however I am having a bit of issues trying to get vlc working the way I want it to.

Background: I have a PC with vista prem home setup on my HDTV. Res is 1776x1000. VLC is my default media player.

2 things I don't know how to do are as follow:

1- I'd liek to know if there was a way for VLC to load Skins2 by default. I can get skins loaded just fine with a hsortcut and the vlc.exe -I skins2 however I'd liek the skin to load if I just open a file.

2- Since im on an HD tv and I mostly watch 4:3 video I always have to go change the apsect ratio to 16:9, is there a way to set this aspect by default whenever VLC loads?

Thx in advance TheMutt
