VLC doesnt play some MP3 files

Postby petehuu » 14 Jun 2007 15:09

I have WinXP SP2 and VLC v0.8.6b
Other players (WMP, MPC) can play these files, but VLC not.
I upload one of these files (05-Mr. Zebra.mp3 1.3MB) to
ftp://streams.videolan.org/incoming/
Whats the problem?

Re: VLC doesnt play some MP3 files

Postby petehuu » 21 Jul 2007 19:29

These files have three ID3 tags, ID3v1, ID3v2.3 and ID3v2.4.
It seems that VLC can handle only one ID3 tag in MP3-file.
