WHY IS VLC NOT AVAILABLE AS A SCREEN SAVER OPTION ?

Postby cibertrix » 24 Mar 2007 09:26

Imagine, when your screen saver kicks in, instead of displaying some lame pics, it connects to your LAN and starts to display the current videos playing on your servers playlist - as each computer on your LAN kicks in the screen saver they always reproduce the current video playing - VLC has not taken advantage of this and I think this is a this is a huge ommision on the part of VLC

I have the code to do that on my computer :) I just need to find the motivation to clean it up and commit it one day :D
