Hi,

VLC automatically goes into 360 mode when I load 360 content, but is it possible to
A) disable and view in 2D equirectangular mode?
B) when viewing stereo Top-Bottom content (usually at 4096x4096 or some other 1:1 ratio), change the projection mode to view as a monoscopic 360 mode, such as can be achieved with GoPro VR player.

These features would be of great use to VR video producers.

A) 360 mode cannot be disabled for now.
B) If the metadata injected in the video are correct, this should behave as you describe. If not, this is definitely a bug.

In both cases, you should probably fill a ticket on our tracker (as a feature request or bug):
