VLC 2x Video Input

Hello,

i have 2x Sundtek MediaTV to grab video.
/dev/video0 and /dev/video1 both are working fine.
But i can't use both together with 2 vlc.
When i start first vlc with /dev/video0 and then 2nd vlc with /dev/video1 it says can't open device :?
Iam Using Debian wheezy 64bit.

Without logs, I can only guess it's a limitation of the hardware driver.

Yeah, the driver does not allow VLC to open the device. Not a VLC bug.

Depending on which device you have we have a firmware upgrade which allows up to 4 USB devices on the same usb controller.

With firmware upgrade/AnalogTV:
1 Stick full resolution
2 Sticks full resolution
3 Sticks must be limited to meet the 480 mbit restriction

Default Firmware supports
1 Stick with full resolution
2 Sticks with lower resolution.
