Broken dependencies on Fedora 15 Alpha

Postby Palooka » 04 Mar 2011 17:39

Hi,

I'm running Fedora 15 Alpha x86_64 with the RPMFusion rawhide repositories enabled.

Trying to install VLC (1.1.7) from RPMFusion it fails, due to dependencies on libmatroska.so.2 and libebml.so.2. The respective libraries from Fedora are so.3.

Is this a question to be addressed here, or should I ask at RPMFusion?

Thanks,
Palooka

P.S. I worked around the issue by manually installing the Fedora 14 versions of libmatroska and libebml into Fedora 15, but this doesn't make me entirely comfortable.

Thanks for the very rapid response. I'll do so.
