Hi. I have working hardware video playback on nvidia cards via this packages from vlc repo: vdpau-video-nvidia, vaapi-tools, libva1. And of course installed proprietary drivers. But on amd/ati card I can't get working hardware playback. I have installed proprietary catalyst drivers and vaapi-tools, libva1, but I cannot find xvba backend required for AMD cards in suse vlc repo. There is nothing as xvba-video-amd package for amd cards. I found this backend here http://www.splitted-desktop.com/~gbeauc ... vba-video/, but only in deb or tar.gz format. Can you repackage this to rpm and include it to suse vlc repo as nvidia backend?

Thanks

Why don't you compile it?
