Mozilla VLC plugin blocks keyboard input

Postby Edison » 06 Jul 2010 19:24

I need to embed a VLC player into a firefox application runing on Linux that is controlled solely by key presses. No mouse will be present. However, when the pointer is over the embedded player, the browser does not get any events. I have also tried to put a layer over the player, but the player stays on top and I can't intercept any key events going to it. On Windows I don't have this problem. How can I make all key events go to the firefox browser?
