Hi,
I have been using VLC ever since i had fedora 12, never a problem, recently i updated vlc and it got updated to version 1.0.6 and now got a whole new interface and skin, but not able to play anything, how can i get my old vlc back which was playing everything. Windows version still comes with no skins the old vlc look that i always liked. Here is the error i get while using it
[tonan@Saurav ~]$ vlc
VLC media player 1.0.6 Goldeneye
[0xa9e098] main libvlc: Running vlc with the default interface. Use 'cvlc' to use vlc without interface.
[0xbfa888] main generic error: no dialogs provider module matched "any"
[0xbdcb58] skins2 interface error: no suitable dialogs provider found (hint: compile the qt4 plugin, and make sure it is loaded properly)
[0xbdcb58] skins2 interface: skin: subX author: Martin Poehlmann
OS Details : Fedora 12
Linux 2.6.31.12-174.2.19.fc12.x86_64 #1 SMP Thu Feb 11 07:07:16 UTC 2010 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
The vlc screen comes up but i am not able to play any video on it. Plzzzzz help me out, i tried compling an older version but there are too many dependency issues which i am not able to sort out.
Regards
Saurav
