how many dependent library that the VLC source need?

I want to compile VLC on ubuntu. I use "sudo apt-get build-dep vlc" to create the dependent library that VLC need, then I successfully compile the VLC source.
Now, I want compile all the dependent library that vlc need by myself because I will transplant VLC into arm borad. This step(comiple all the library that VLC need) must be done?
So , who knows the library list(if tell the library's function is best) that when compile VLC source it will link. wish you can tell me. Thanks a lot

Just configure,then the message will tell you what libs is missing,get the lib package and install it.
