Hi,

A very happy new year to all.

I've installed VLC media player on my suse11.2 from http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-suse.html. I'm now able to play my movie (mp4 format), however there is no sound.

Please assist me to fix this issue.

Most probably another application is monopolizing the sound card. Kill it.

how can make out the process that is cause of no sound in playing my movie on VLC, also would be great if you let me know how to kill it.

i have no sound in windows when i try to open a video from my mobile phones..i dont know if thats the problem..i just say it.sorry if im bothering

still I've sound issue, if any one can assist, would be great
