Hi, i am listen music with my notebook per bluetooth about my home-cinema-system samsung ht-z320. i am usin vlc for ubuntu 1.0.3

But if i am using bluetooth i havent surround sound. there is no sound on the rear speakers. with cable connection i have surround sounds.

is it possible to get surround sound with vlc with a special setting?

Does it works with other media player. have you check the audio menu ? have you tried with other audio output module (alsa, pulse) ?

i tried other players too but without success. I am listening 5.1 sound per klinke (i dont know the english word) and cinch cable. but per bluetooth i have only sound on the front speakers. i tested with the same mp3 file.

samsung is saying, that mp3 are stereo sounds and i have to simulate 5.1 with my media player. is that possible with vlc?

i am using kubuntu karmic linux system. i have a notebook of acer aspire 9303WSMi.

Which bluetooth adapter do I need to connect a nokia phone with a pc? I bought a simple nokia phone but it has bluetooth. My PC doesn't have bluetooth. I've heard there are bluetooth adapters for PCs. I have XP Pro. Which bluetooth adapter do I need to connect a nokia phone with the pc?
