HOW TO WATCH TV from TV TUNER CARD ?

Hello, I am wondering if it is possible to watch tv in vlc, I mean not internet tv, but tv from tv card, tv tuner? And if it is, is it possible to change channels, to memorise channels?

I saw this link. But I am using analog tv tuner. And, if I get that work, what to do with that channels.conf ?

Not even google can find this mysterious "PVR plugin." It's not in my plugins list. I did find
this GB-PVR plugin, and coppied the DLL to my plugins folder, but it did naught.

It looks like it is still impossible to change channels while watching analog TV using VLC...

The PVR plugin is part of the official VLC distribution, and supports IVTV cards. For other PVRs, the normal V4L2 plugin should work just fine as with any video acquisition peripheral.

The normal V4L2 works. It is just imposible to change channel while watching some other default opened channel...
