vlc for fedora fc11 depends on libtar from fc10

subject line says it all. Is this normal?

I haven't been able to use vlc on fedora fc11 because every time I try to install it, I am told that it depends on a package (libtar) that is an fc10 package. Has anyone else encountered this and gotten around it?

Ask the fedora packager.

I have libtar-1.2.11-11.fc10 on Fedora 11 because it wasn't rebuilt, but shouldn't prevent vlc to install.

What's the problem you have while installing vlc from rpmfusion.
