VLC 1.02 Bug : Segmentation Fault (Core Dump) Upon Sort

So, allow me to say that VLC is my favorite player, ever! I have but one problem with it, which I believe to be a bug. I have recently switched to Ubuntu 9.10, Alpha 6, and it comes with 1.02, which works great, much better than the other releases. However, I have a Media Library, about 6 Gb, and whenever I hit sort by artist or by name, or by anything, it just hangs for a few seconds and crashes. I ran it through a terminal and found that it was a Segmentation Fault (Core Dump).

Can anyone reproduce this or is it just me?

Could you install the vlc-dbg package and produce a backtrace with gdb

Alright, I reproduced the problem and Apport came up, and it is now sending a full report. It may take a while and I dont know how to access it but it is doing something.
