Image scrambled on Fedora 10

I try to stream from Windows to a linux box.

The video being streamed is .mpg and ecapsulated in MPEG-TS. Using UDP multicast

It worked fine when received by another windows machines.

But the signal was scrambled when received by a Linux box Fedora core 10,same local network.

Does anyone know what is the problem? Many Thanks.

Make sure you're using the same VLC version. Also make sure you're using libswscale rather than old libimgresample.

Fedora 10 ffmpeg doesn't have imgscaler anymore.

Just now, there is a 1.0.3 release pending, you can give it a try using:
# yum update --enablerepo=rpmfusion-free-updates-testing vlc\*

Now image problem tends to be close to gpu driver problem ? which driver GPU are you using ?
