VLC under QNX

I'm trying to run VLC under QNX 6, but it failed to run with these messages:

VLC doesn't find its plugins.
Have you "make install" or are you running from the buildtree ?
Have you run ldconfig after installing ?

As a side note, vlc without avcodec and libmpeg2 won't do a lot

The QNX port has not been maintained for years. It is unlikely to work out-of-the-box. Someone needs to fix it.

I have tried just to get VLC working under QNX - playing video with VLC is the next task.

Have you "make install" or are you running from the buildtree ?

So, after some time I have started VLC successfully. I reconfigure it wth ncurses support, so after make && make install I've placed symlink from /usr/lib/vlc/n.so to gui/libncurses.so - ncurses interface plugin.

Have you run ldconfig after installing ?

There is no ldconfig command in QNX 6, so common solutions don't work

When I get VLC running with videoplaying capabilities, I could upload my patches and setup instructions anywhere. I think it would be helpful to developers' community
